Conformance and Certification

TSS systems are accredited and comply with stringent safety and environmental standards as required by leading government agencies including the UK Home Office, Police Information Technology Organisation and the Vehicle Certification Agency.

In addition, TSS systems have been independently assessed by accredited test houses and meet or exceed the requirements of many European and national standards.

For example:
" e " marking - a European approval conducted by an accredited test house to ensure that the system conforms to the minimum regulations including RFI emissions and susceptibility as required under the EEC Directive 72/245/EEC. Equipment not complying with this standard should not be installed in any police or emergency vehicle.

AES 5 is a UK Home Office standard which certifies the system for vehicle electromagnetic compatibility to ensure there are no possibilities of interference with police communications. This standard is also recognised and adopted by many countries other than the UK.

CE marking and ISO 9001 are additional assessments and quality standards requiring independent audit and certification.
