Autovision Compact combines advanced digital CCTV video with high accuracy speed measurement equipment providing a very effective and straightforward traffic enforcement system.
The system integrates VASCAR 5000 with high quality audio visual video record of poor driver behaviour, evidence of speeding, or traffic related incidents. The VASCAR equipment provides highly accurate static or moving speed enforcement data.
With instantaneous fast-forward and rewind and a 60 second pre event facility it ensures that no crucial incident is missed. Autovision Compact represents state of the art technology for police traffic enforcement applications.
Incorporating powerful colour/infrared camera with wide angle, 18 times optical zoom and fast shutter features, the system is easy to operate from a single robust remote controller. Images are overlaid with relevant data including a security frame counter. The first line shows date, time and speed of the patrol car, the second line displays the average speed of the target vehicle together with the time and distance over which the speed check was taken.
Simultaneous record and playback features afford a high level of officer protection and operational flexibility. This facility also reduces the incidence of fraudulent claims against the police.
